Spanish Flag

I have 1.1a and noticed while playing Port that when castile turns over to Spain there shield changes but all the flags on there provinces and ships and armies is a white flag with a red "X" on it any idea why?

That is the historical Spanish flag. And yes, it is quite like the Burgundian flag.

I still had a gold flag with the red cross (an older version from Mad King James) which I prefer to use for Spain simply for claritys sake, although it is ahistorical.

Thanks I thought they looked too similar I remember when I first notes the change I thought Burgundy went on a tear but luckily that wasnt the case. Thanks
