Spanish civil war event for the Italians

Are ther any plans of reducing the supply trade with the nationalist, its a killer if you are playing as italy. Or the end date should be the end of the civil war not in 1939, If the war is over and nationalist win i would not continue sending supplies for nothing, any comments???

The trade simulated the heavy investment that Italy did to support the Nationalist and which crippled the Italian economy and military.
Moreover, the end of the Spanish war with victorious Nationalists already ends the trade with Italy.

With that hefty penalty, I would decline to help the Nationalists as Italy. There is no return on investment imo.

It's in there for realism. The Italians gave Franco so much for next to nothing whereas the Republicans gave the Soviets almost all their gold for Soviet help.
Anyway, if you don't help the Nationalists then there's a good chance they'll lose and furthermore, if they lose the Republicans will join the Allies and therefore you'll be at war with one more country. So IMO that's a good reason to help them.

Actually, imo, that is the best reason to not help them. As Italy, I would rather annex Republican Spain than have a neutral Nationalist Spain. As Germany, I would rather have a puppet Nat Spn. So either way....

thats better. I remember playing Italy and after seeing how much supplies I was giving them, wished I just DoWed on both spains and taken the place over.
