Well Boys ... after all I have learnt from you I have managed to make Spain the 3rd World Power, basically invading Marrocco and then following UK's footsteps (that was my grand strategy) and declaring Colonial War on China after UK and China had been fighting for a while, Now the UK is at war with the US, so I shall wait a bit until the US is practically exhausted to enter the war and take what is Rightfully Spanish, namely Florida and Louisiana.

I do have some questions though, I am unable to find where my BB rating is, I seem to remember reading you could acces it by presing f12, when I press it I get what seems to be a dark grey screen with an intermitent orange square at the bottom left of this screen.

I am planning various invasions but I'd like to know how other countries feel about my Imperialist ideals.

I have also noticed that my relationship whith countries decreases slightly but steadily through time. Is making relations better (diplomacy screen) any good?.

I constantly get asked by the frogs for military access, I do not want to grant it ... what are the effects of granting such access?, could they simply march to Madrid and DOW on me? would that concession make our relations any better?

Well ... enough for now ... tonight is the big night when Spain will, hopefully, regain its rightful place in history as the World's #1 Power.

How about the French asking for military access, could they simply walk to Madrid and Declare War? would our relations get better if I grant access?

You should be OK then

Having good relations with others is always good; never know when you might need to open negotiations with them. But you'll need to prioritize, since you won't have enough diplomats to keep good relations with everyone. And in any case, BB comes in the way of good relations when it starts getting high.

Dunno about the access; if they should pull a stunt like that, their armies will start demoralized, methinks.

What about 1.03b? You don't need it to find you BB, it's just better

You don’t mention the year, but remember the Spanish-American war is hard-wired. When I played Spain I made sure I was allied with GB during the period leading to war.
