Hey.
I'm wondering if I can get some help to construct a realistic order of battle with the (available in game)right field marshals and generals under them at the right front/place for the Soviet Uninon at different times.
So far I got this:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winter War:
Field Marshal: Kliment Voroshilov
Infantry: Kirill Meretskov
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Operation Barbarossa:
Kliment Voroshilov Leningrad Front
INF: Grigory Kulik

Georgy Zhukov Stavka Glavnogo Komandovaniya
INF: Ivan Konev

Aleksandr Vasilevsky Stavka Glavnogo Komandovaniya?
INF:

Semyon Budyonny Southwestern Direction (Southwestern and Southern Fronts)
INF:

Semyon Timoshenko
INF:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reserve Front, guarding russia:
Semyon Budyonny
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Battle of Moscow:
Ivan Konev Western Front
INF:

Budyonny Reserve Front
INF:

Andrey Yeryomenko Bryansk Front
INF:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Battle of Stalingrad:
Andrey Yeryomenko Stalingrad Front
INF: F.I. Tolbukhin, V.I. Chuikov

Konstantin Rokossovsky Don Front
INF:

Nikolai Vatutin Southwestern Front
INF:

Please help me fill out and/or correct me if I'm wrong about this!

Here is the Winter War OOB that I played with it:

Finland OOB
Kuznetsov
Murmansk
14th Army
3 inf, 1 cav
Kirill Meretskov
Long Front in the Middle
8th Army
9 nkvd, 3 inf
Govorov
Mid-South, supposed to cut Finland in the middle
9th Army
6 inf, 2 cav, 1 tank
Lelyushenko
Leningrad
7th Army
4 tank, 4 inf

I did some changes from the real one, mostly the Kirill 8th army had only 3 divisions I think for a huge front. I had to add those weak Nkvd divisions to it, otherwise it can't cover the whole front in hoi4.

Sources: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_War#Soviet_order_of_battle

It was no problem defeating Finland, in fact I held back to maximize general XP gain...

Winter war is wrong, see my previous post.
To be fair, it's not entirely correct either:
Meretskov was in command of the 7th army,
9th was under Chuikov,
while 8th and 14th commanders seem to be missing form the game.

Still, with somewhat historical division count (especially considering what AI is actually capable of fielding), I'd say OP's variant is good enough (would, probably, still roll over Finland even with pure INF).

Meretskov was in command of the 7th army

Meretskov started the Winter War as the commander of the Leningrad Military District, but due to the poor Soviet success during the opening days he was very soon decreased in rank and appointed to command the Soviet 7th Army.

In January 1940 the Leningrad Military District was reformed and renamed North-Western Front having Semyon Timoshenko as in command.
