Started a game as the Soviets. Germany did the rush thing, declaring on and overrunning Lux, Netherlands and Belgium before Poland had even capitulated. France fell soon after.

Germany starts Barbarossa in January 1941. Surely sensible to wait for spring ?
German offensive into Soviet occupied Poland grinds to a halt when it hits my Soviet line a couple of tiles in. And it hasn't moved in 12 months. Von Rundstedt seems to be commanding the entire Eastern Front. No wonder he has so little hair . . . Elsewhere, China has capitulated, the Japanese have overrun Australia, Malaya and Burma and are in India. They've given Burma to the Germans, like why/how, they've not merged wars ? Also they haven't taken French Indochina. Italy is way down into Tanzania and Belgian West Africa, but has left Free French North Africa alone ?

Replacing my losses and building up Soviet forces and I need more Tungsten. Who I'm gonna call, well the Japanese seem happy to sell me, the enemy of their ally (well they've given the German's Burma !!!), 24 units of tungsten . . .
