Soviet Patriotic War needs revising

Hi,

imho the force balance in the game is getting nearer to perfect by the time. But when I'm playing with Germany, and the Patriotic War event occurs at the Soviets, they get immideately +70% ground defence efficiency as I recall. That makes things quite bad, as I can only make a very little progress since the beginning. I suggest, that this increase of GDE should be appearing gradually, as the Germans move in deeper.

Isnt the +70 just a change to GDE being 70% , not + 70? Dunno whether its 0 from start.

Yep, you have a pont there. It is not +70%, but setting to constant 70%. Nevertheless, I'm going to try out this stuff I made up.

It's not +70%. It sets it from 60 (iirc) to 70.

Right, I started a '33 scenario and it sets to 60% at start. But still, I notice that the Russians are significantly tougher after the event. I think I'll try with 65%.
