I'm trying to play conquor the world as the SU (1.06 vh/f). I've got the land part pretty much under control. By 1943, I've annexed Germany, and I am invading France, the Mideast, and Italy. My problem occurs after that. My previous strategy of creating 2 - 4 strong surface fleets, 100's of subs, and enough aircraft to keep the allies off my back no longer works. With the way ships just 'melt' in 1.06 I need a more sophisticated strategy (this is a good thing BTW). I'm not quite sure where to start. Obviously I need to keep more ships in the production queue (as opposed to a one time build), but that is only part of the answer. At this point, just getting to the point of invading UK would be an advance. I guess, in general, I'm asking how do you conduct a naval war in 1.06. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Remove US fleet with naval bombers. Use subs to control US interests. Invade some small nation in South America and go from there. :)
