Do you guys think soviet AI is too weak? Sometimes soviet cant even protect Moscow from German before US join WWII at late 1941.

Even US join the war, allies cant setup the western front properly. All landing attempt on Europe are wiped out by German quickly, which make soviet even harder to survive. In most cases, soviet died before allies successfully build their western front.

In 1941, soviet have only less than 100 military factory when German have 170+. Also German have 4000+ planes which is much more than soviet. Even soviet have more troops, they got destroyed by German soon, and make soviet population decrease quickly. As a result, no matter US join WWII or not, soviet cant survive without player strong help.

I think that in 1941 the Soviet Union should be in tough shape, hanging by a thread. Later on in the war in 1943 - 1944, the Soviet Union should get much stronger. And definitely by 1945 the Soviet Union should be a behemoth.

I think both France and USSR are wrong. France had the strongest standing army in western Europe IRL. but they used wrong battle doctrines and had bad commanders living in the glory of WW1 that didn't trust radios. Also had weak airforce. But in-game they do not have even enough divisions to man both fronts. I think better representation would be nerfed to the organization, reinforcement rate, and big debuff to army XP gain. But they should be able to mass troops there was 3,3 mil of men on the allied side that is 330 20w divisions in-game during the battle for France.

As for USSR there is non of the reasons why Wehrmacht needed to stop before Moscow and Volga. In-game Germany can have an almost limitless amount of fuel and rubber (trucks). IRL they had a very limited budget of both. And in 1942 they didn't have enough fuel for another offensive. Point 2 because of point 1 they used horses for almost everything. but they died or were eaten in the frist winter and were hard to replace. Point 3 In-game it doesn't matter how long your supply line is. Also, the rails have infinite capacity. sure your supply hub can go max 15 supply but you can provide an infinite number of these hubs on the single rail line. And supply trucks do not cost fuel. Point 4 there is no allied land lease programs to help Russia to stay in the war.

these reasons are why is extremely hard to simulate the eastern front and soviet miracle turnaround.

It seems German is too OP in this game. In 1941, German AI have mil-factories that nearly equal to the sum of US and Soviet, and also have limitless amount of resources (both in fuel/manpower). German get even stronger after conquer soviet, that make a snowball effect and Allies have no way to stop German anymore.

Soviet Union AI is a joke now. The gap between Germany and SU became huge, even if advantage is given to SU in settings. On top of reasons people mentioned, just look at what SU builds all the time when the war starts - only railroads, nothing else at all. Well there are factories in the list for building, but it never gets down to it. By 1943 they may have 10-20% of factories that Germans have, which is nonsense. The balance is totally broken.
