I don't know what happened, but in my current Game I, playing as Dixie, of course, Am pused out of Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia. When and how does the Cleborne Emancipation event trigger?

VIP has such an event, but since you can't actually raid commerce in Ricky, there doesn't seem to be much point in it to me. Maybe it's just my style of play (and if it is, please feel free to call me on it), but I can't think of a single time during the ACW I would've bought a commerce raider rather than build a land unit or an ironclad.

If it's just me, let me know, and I'll port the VIP event into the next update.

For the Cleburne event to fire, the CSA have to have lost 75% of their provinces, but they have to still control Richmond & Charleston SC. Memphis, Knoxville, Chattanooga, & Nashville have to have gone to the Yankees. Also, the Emancipation Proclamation event has to have fired.

"Victory at Last" fires if the Union opts to make peace in the "A House Divided?" event.

As it stands, if the Union stays in the fight (roughly 4% chance of that, IIRC), France & the UK will probably recognize the CSA in the events that follow for them.

Myself, I don't think things would've gone further than that without the Union doing something deliberately provactive (like in the Trent Affair or overreacting to the St. Albans Raid). Thus it is so in the mod.

It's not just you, Badass. I hate commerce raiders. But I love Historical accuracy. That's why I like your mod. Although I would like to know why in all the hundreds-o.k., maybe more like 50-games I've played in Victoria in the 1861 scenario Mexico never becomes a Monarchy! This happened in real life, why can't it happen here, too?

As in vanilla Ricky, France has to have opted to intervene in the "European Intervention in Mexico" event, then they need to capture Mexico City. Conditions are checked once a month, so if they exist, save and reload to get your wish.

OHGamer has released HotFix #5 for Ricky, and it contains nothing incompatible with the SR mod unless you're using the mod with the Grand Campaign game.

If you are being all whacky and playing the GC with SR, I have uploaded a V1.21 that corrects the one Carlist Spain event which is the sum total of difference between the hotfix and SR.

As always, to use both the HotFixes and SR, deactivate the mod in JSGME, install the HotFixes, then reactivate the mod.

Oh no problem. I love your work. Being from Alabama, the CSA mods have a pull to them that I cannot, nor do I want to, get away from. I love being able to see the Third National flag waveing proudly over various sites in Europe.

On the mod itself. Not too sure if this is something you did or if it is game mechanics. But about 90% of the time I play the 1861 campaign, there is a partisan that pops up in Michigan. He is one of the main factors in the freedom of the CSA. If following Hannibals guide the partisan is your saveing grace. He is the reason you see all those divisions that should be trying to stop you, heading westward. Most of the time he liberates the province and the US goes for him before me. Which just makes the US defeat come sooner. I will try to post some screenies this afternoon when I get home showing what I mean.

Oh no problem. I love your work. Being from Alabama, the CSA mods have a pull to them that I cannot, nor do I want to, get away from. I love being able to see the Third National flag waveing proudly over various sites in Europe.

On the mod itself. Not too sure if this is something you did or if it is game mechanics. But about 90% of the time I play the 1861 campaign, there is a partisan that pops up in Michigan. He is one of the main factors in the freedom of the CSA. If following Hannibals guide the partisan is your saveing grace. He is the reason you see all those divisions that should be trying to stop you, heading westward. Most of the time he liberates the province and the US goes for him before me. Which just makes the US defeat come sooner. I will try to post some screenies this afternoon when I get home showing what I mean.

In Europe? Wow! Did you invade, or just get drawn into the Great War?

The Michigan partisans are not my doing. Never seen that happen myself. Heck, I'm not even sure *how* CSA partisans would show up there.

I got drug in by my English allies, who joined me in my quest for independence way back in 1862.

On the partisan, I think he may be Brit. He is in a territory that borders Canada. I got a screenie of him last night just to post and show you, but alas the 1:00AM bell came and getting up for work at 5:00AM is difficult. But, then again I am haveing fun and get engrossed in the game, and forget about time. I will post the screenie this afternoon when I get home.

They're not compatible. SR is for Ricky, and the current version of VIP is for old-fashioned Vicky 1.4.

If the UK joined the war because of the Trent Affair, it would make sense for it to be an English unit.
