You should leave your problem and the way you fixed it up here. Other people might have the same problem as you had.
I was unable to run CPR+ because I didn't own South Indian Portraits DLC and I couldn't find it among purchasable content of CK2. Simply because I didn't read the info about that DLC, which is free.
