I'm wondering will all the south american nations be in the game(I know the central american ones won't) or are we going to join some of the smaller ones like Paraguay and Uruguay. Besides please tell me that you are including Cuba as an independant nation, that nation is perfect for a lot events.

All of the South American nations ARE going to be in the game, and Cuba is independent. Cent. Amer. is NOT going to be in the game, though.

Actually I would prefer to keep Central America Because of possible side wars in the region and more importantly because I would like to keep the empty arias to a minimum on the map. Since we don't have enough tags Sub Saharan Africa can go but as I said before that yields up like 20 new tags, more than enough to fill in other blank spots on the map and still allow new nations like Tibet and Palestine. As such I would like to keep Central America in first to limit the empty arias in other arias of the map and also because I wouldn't know what to do with the extra tags.

Ok, your right. As long as we can get the theoretical countries Lunar and I wanted, and as long as we can get the Pacific and asian nations, then Cent Amer could be good to say :)

What about an event that causes a civil war to start between a south american country and one of the countless south american marxist guerilla groups. Eventually the revolters could seize control of the country. It could then spread the rebellion to its capitalist neighbours and we could have a huge war in south america. It's not very unrealistic since almost all countries in this part of the world have well established leftish guerilla movements and lots of poor people. Also a revolution of this kind might get support from China as they would have similar ideologies and as the commie takeover of south america would be an extra thorn in the side of usa in the event of war with china.

In my country description *for Argentina* I forgot to mention the election where Kirchner rose to power. Maybe someone could make a trigger where you choose between:

Nestor Kirchner or Carlos Saul Menem (cause those were the two leading choices, Menem dropped out cause it was an estimated 70% for Kirchner and 30% for him, having Kirchner elected would've made him the highest elected candidate in Argentine history.)

I don't know what kind of ministers you'd have for Kirchner, I'd have to look it up, but I know Menem would have a couple of Crooked Kleptocrats and the ones that lower your ICs.(Peso-Dollar 1 to 1, my ass..)

Edit: Also, a possible event with Menem to hand over the South of Argentina to Chile. He was going to do that, sadly. (Of course, he didn't say anything.)

And a flood there was in Santa Fe, you could represent it in Cordoba, since there's no Santa Fe in HoI, that would lower the infrastructure to 10 or something. (That happened in around May, the early days.)

There is also the plan for the 6000 houses Kirchner made around a couple of weeks ago. And today I heard on the radio they were retaking the Condor-2 project, a missile capable of going 12km upwards, dunno the range exactly.

I suppose we can do something like this:

1) Venzuela gets a socialist/communist coup. USA withdraws their ambassador.

2) FARC requests assistance, Colombia warns Venzuela, Venzuela agrees anyway (countries after a coup tend to have ideological proponents instead of realists).

3) Colombia declares war on Venzuela. Colombia expects to slaughter Venzuela due to being about twice Venzuela in terms of GDP and population.

4) Venzuela, seeing the situation, basically offers oil in exchange for military assistance.

5) The main European contries, needing oil, decide to go with this great deal. They get a small IC boost and a large oil boost while Venzuela gets supplies and perhaps 1 armor, and 2 infantry divisions (?).

6) Stalemate war until one side wins. Perhaps one or both of the sides after a victory would try to recreate a Grand Colombia, not sure.

Meko 360

The argentinian Almirante Brown class ships are destroyers (MEKO 360) And there is another Hercules class, the S. Trinidad (wich was modified to carry and disembark troops, but keeps most the weapons)
