Sound of music

I was wondering whether i will be able to play eu2 with ALL the sound options turned off? In EU i can turn off the music, but for some reason not the sound effects (even when i set sfx volume to zero).
Which also makes for a strange combination of tom jones 'sexbomb' (which i play on winamp background) and the clamour of the battle sfx!
Is this fixed in EU2?

You can't turn the SFX to OFF, but you can turn the volume completely down in-game, so the effect is the same. The music can be turned OFF as well as having a volume adjuster.
