When I start any Paradox game I keep getting a message that sound card driver is out of date. It is not.

I wasn't aware we even had a message like that anywhere ... does it look like it comes from our games or launcher? or from Windows or elsewhere? Maybe a screenshot would help.
And, when did this start happening?
DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.
Please attach your Documents/Paradox/EU4/settings.txt and pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox/EU4/logs/ folder, attach system.log , error.log .
