Not to interrupt your linguistic discussione here, but.....
What I primarily wonder about the MP function is: will it use the same connection system as EU2 and HoI? The method has proven very problematic for several friends of mine who are behind firewalls that are beyond their control, effectively banning them from playing multiplayer games.
It has also been a bit of a hassle for people behind ADSL routers (like me), though that can usually be circumnavigated (though sometimes at the cost of completely DMZ-ing the computer...) so it might not be a huge problem.
Have these issues been fixed within the old MP connection system, or is a new one in place for this game?
Any comments/observations from the developers and/or betatesters regarding this?
