Well, if you're going to take the initiative and mod the files before I get around to figuring it out, there's not much I can do about that.

If you have server space, just post the file to this thread. Otherwise, you can e-mail it to me at bear AT provide DOT net.

Unfortunately I don't have any server space, so I'll send the files to you. Though I have only added Hyzhenhok's, yours, Jarkko's and mine characters so far, so if more players join up, I guess I should wait until they make their characters, right?

One question- did you change all the inheritance laws in England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland to semi-sallic primogeniture? If not, I can try doing that. I also think that we could edit player's inheritance laws to wherever they were wanting it to be, ao they don't have to take the initial law0change hit when they conform to our semi-sallic rule.

So far I changed all Ireland's duchies (Connacht, Ulster, Meath, Leinster and Munster) to follow semi-salic primogeniture, but it won't be a big job to change all other British Isle's duchies and kingdoms to be semi-salic primogeniture too. A bigger job could be if some counties are not semi-salic primogeniture as their tags are not as easy to figure out as the duchies / kingdoms.

When you add in the other dukes, please edit the Duke of Meath to having 100 prestige, 100 piety and 25 gold, the same as the others.

Btw, if we are going to play this week, then I hope it is either Wednesday or Thursday morning GMT. On Friday and Saturday I will be away with me old band for a gig, and as I know how our those affairs end I want to have a good nights sleep before that (so Friday morning I'd like to sleep *late*, and won't be available on Saturday, Sunday and most likely not even Monday mornings GMT)... Sorry for the short warning, the plan was to have a local gig on Friday night, but it has changed for an off-town gig on Saturday night.

There's a post in the Scenarios and Modifications section that lists all the counties by their tag, as well as listing the Ducal and Kingdom tags. You can just copy the list to a word document and search to find the tag for the county in question. That's how I figure those things out.

Be that as it may, there are only 3 other realms in the play area that need their inheritance laws changed. They are:

GWYN=Duchy of Gwynned
DEHE= Duchy of Deheubarth
C019=County of Glamorgan

Since all three of those realms have sallic gavelkind as their starting inheritance laws, we're actually doing them a favor by modding their base inheritance laws. Changing those would change every non-bishopric in the play area to semi-sallic primogeniture.

Oh, and while I'm giving you information to mod, here's the DNA codes for my two characters:

Of course, if you don't feel like doing the necessary changes, I could (try to) do them when I get the files. Since you've already made a go of it, I would appreciate it, though.

Right, I changed the welsh countries mentioned and also WEIL, the Western Isles, which I hadn't changed before to semi-salic primogeniture.

As I have decided to kill those original dukes that are to be replaced by modded dukes (with exception on Ulster) and add modded dukes as new entries, your character will remain the original duke of Leinster's nephew and cousin to original Western Isles duke, even if the Western Isles duke is to be killed and replaced.

Also good that you noted the missing money, prestige and piety Hyzhenhok. Small mistakes like that happen from time to time while editing.

The DNAs of your chars replaced with the DNAs you gave, Patrucio. Hyzhenhok, if you like to decide your characters DNA too, please post desired DNA. And Sterkarm too. If you won't, you have to tolerate what I'll give you.

When we started ages back we were a Doors/Jimi Hendrix -fanband. But over the years we did develope to be a bit more versatile. One of our band actually makes his living from music these days, we others who were less-gifted had to start live "properly" since no record-company had even the slightest interest in our music Here you can get a song called Eläke tha I wrote in 1993, the lyrics are in Finnish, but they tell about this young dude who doesn't have a job and just waits with his bottle for the day when he begins to recieve pension. Corny, I know now :rofl:

Well, technically you said that you are interested on Western Isles before Tiefling said he's interested on Western Isles, but as you said on post #32:

Hi i am interested to take Western Isles but i want game date and time and i don't think i understood those points

And didn't confirm that you would be able to play after the playing times were posted by Patrucio, technically you weren't confirmed to Western Isles yet. And then Tiefling claimed them with being certain to play.

But I am not the one who decides, I am just throwing around my views of things.

Two DNA observations:

1) Jarkko's and Byakhim's characters look pretty similar, though they have decidedly different DNA strands. I find that interresting.

2) My male character is hands down the ugliest of the modded guys thus far. YAY uglies!

Well that a no-can-do 'cause my grand-parents are fifty years married today and we have a family brawl...uhh party...

So I'll pass the title of Duke of the Western Ilses to Gen. Joohoo since I won't be able to make a character before tomorrow
