The "Unite the Tribes" mission for Songhai won't work bc I haven't completed "Dominant religion in Songhai is Fetishist", but I did make it dominant. I have more Fetishist provinces than any other religion. All other required parts of the mission are complete. The mission won't fire and I am unsure as to why that is. Can anyone help?

I attached my save file if you need to look at that.

Do you have more Fetishist development than any other religion? I don't know anything about it really but I understand that's how cultural mechanics work.
I'm not sure, now that you mention it, that may be the case. Is there a way to look that up for your own country? Possibly in the lists? Or should i just start deving my fetishist provinces and hopefully get there eventually?

Yes, there is. You can see a pie chart in the ledger (at the very bottom right, there's a few buttons, click the second one to the left. Then go to religion; It's somewhere there.

I wouldn't develop as that is very wasteful, just passively convert and use a missionary with the missionary edict.

It's in the Economy section, under Charts. The pie chart however is only accurate if you've stated all of your land, it sadly doesn't take territories into account. A bit convoluted way around this would be to manually add up the fetishist development from the state view, and compare that to your total development from the economic tab.

Well, I'm learning something new everyday! :)

Also, the blue flag alert doesn't seem to be in his UI; So he either stated everything or disabled the alert.

Here is my pie chart, it's at exactly 50.0% while the next strongest is Sunni at 47.7%. Does the fetishists need to be at literally 50.1%?

Is all of your land in states? As I've said, the pie charts are only showing stated land, and I see from another chart that you have some uncored provinces.

Dominant doesn't necessarily mean 50%+, for a religion to be dominant it has to have the most development share of all religions present in your country. I can see that while you have mostly sunni and fetishist land, you also have some catholic and shia provinces too, which actually works in your favor, because it breaks up the dichotomy you'd have from only two religions.

My best guess is you are a couple of development off from fetishist having the most development in your nation, so just a few conversions, or strategically provoking some catholic or shia rebels to reduce the share of sunni should put you over.

The pie chart shows the number of provinces which follow a religion and not the development(if you don't believe me, start a game as Aq Qoyunlu. Their pie chart shows 57.1% sunni, because 4/7 of their provinces follow that religion, but the dominant religion is Coptic which has 29/55=52.7% of the dev). To find out the development of the religions, you have to manually add up the dev of their provinces.
As I've said, the pie charts are only showing stated land
It also shows unstated land. You can for example test this by using the console command annex eng as a country which has no catholic provinces. It makes you annex England and catholic will be represented in the pie chart even if you don't state any of these provinces.

You were both right. It's the development, I used the province list to add it up. I had less development in the fetishist provinces. As soon as I fixed that issue through conquest and deving, I got the green check for the mission. Thank you very much for your help!

Now I just need to get 3 tolerance of heathens through humanist ideas. Dhimmi building restrictions is a terrible modifier and should be easier to remove. Oh well. thanks again!
If you don't have Enforce religious unity granted to the Ulema, you could grant the Dhimmi Guaranteed religious minority rights, that gives +2 tolerance plus based on their influence they give 0,5-2 by default if they are loyal.
