This is not the time to bicker like petty children. The proposed government consists of members of three different parties with very different ideologies, which in itself is a progressive move from the past liberal coalition. Including a member from every party would only add to the chaos at this time. Even if the Imperialists are not included, I am willing to back this coalition for the sake of the war effort. Those who would oppose this coalition simply because they were excluded seem to forget that we're at war and don't have the luxury of delaying the administration with constant complaints. Let this government do its job so Germany can win the war.

- Eva von Vandenburg

I think that upon the conclusion of hostilities, a new non-War Cabinet government should be formed.

The Bundespartei has been betrayed! The DLP has put politics above the unity of the Republic during a time of war! They even put a socialist as a finance minister, some liberals they are!

I demand the president refuse this coalition until a true government of national unity can be formed.

-Herr Liberator
I do not understand. How is a mainly liberal government a government of national unity ? It is indeed progress that for the first time in a long while someone not liberal or conservative holds a ministry. Let us keep calm and discuss real issues and let us keep from political bickering during this war.

With the President's approval, the coalition ministers are now ordered to submit their proposals. Parliamentary legislation may also be submitted; any legislation must be submitted within 48 hours (10 PM on Saturday) to be placed upon the ballot. The Members of the Reichstag are reminded that the people of Germany will support a Socialist Reform if we wish to enact one; at the moment, the most pressing issue is unemployment insurance ((22+ radicality)).

((In my opinion, things are now balanced enough without adding the Bundespartei as a new ideology. We can revisit this question in the future if it is necessary.))

The DLP has two ministries and the chancellorship. They couldn't give one position to our party? I do not understand.

This is pathetic. You have ruled for decades and now the moment you are ousted from power you start crying and rolling on the ground of unhappiness like a toddler. Man up and realise that power is not BP assured and other parties have a say in government as well. There will still be plenty of time for the BP to ruin Germany further after the war.

((You could name me Commander of the Gendarmerie. It's been awhile since I've done anything; the last government position I held was Foreign Minister as Otto von Bismarck.))

The Ministry of The Interior's Plan of 1894
Recognising that in times of war internal peace is of the utmost importance, we will suppress opportunists who believe that violent rebellion is a good way to achieve their goals, rather than peaceful means. ((All above 50 radicality movements to be suppressed.))
Furthermore, recognising that in these difficult times we need a Commander of the Gendarmerie with a strong moral fortitude, and that the previous commander failed to properly investigate several murders and attempted murders of the great statesmen of the Reichstag, I hereby appoint Frederick Cariles to the office. Serve with honor. Finally, I would like to switch our national foci primarily towards soldier production in these trying times of war.

((I would just like to point out that Densley Blair's character is now 91 and has not held a single position in government...))

((86, actually. Av got the age wrong on the front page – though the point stands, I suppose. The last election marks fifty years of being a member of a party who wouldn't even be allowed in the Bundestag in our Germany! :p

Soaking of which, I had intended for the Grand Old Man of the German left to retire at the last election, but I've been without Internet of any sort for the past ten days (thanks, BT…) and so was unable to announce such. I'll likely have him step down soon.))

I request information regarding any militant rebel organizations, as my first duty as Commander of the Gendarmerie. I also request that During war proceedings, the Chief of the General Staff leaves me plenty armies to deal with potential insurrections.

-Johannes Carile, Commander of the Corps of Gendarmerie

((How many brigades can we build, and are the ones I ordered built done?))

((How many brigades can we build, and are the ones I ordered built done?))

((Yes to your second question, we have 172/516 brigades right now.))

((How much Infamy do we have? Does Castile have cores on the coast?))

((

Green slashes are Castillian cores. We have 8.56 infamy right now.))
