now I WAS a muslim person and not christian so I am not sure how it works in your religion but... because of this game I thought christians were not allowed to marry with other religions? I think this is not an actual bug but someting forgotten to set up

maybe from now on when doing royal marriage game should check ruler religion as long as he is not married and then if there is a consort game should check country religion?

Marriage is based on state religion.
Since court now has personal culture/religion it may end up different from the state religion -- either through event or other thing.

I haven't played on 1.23 yet, so I can't comment on how frequent it is**.
