Very nice screen. But, that is even more sad.And I might say, a great way to assuage the pain of not being picked for beta-testing.
Good looking sprites! And I might say, a great way to assuage the pain of not being picked for beta-testing.
Thanks for the screenie! This has prally been asked a million times, but what does the little checkered black/white flag with the percentage next to it mean?

The sprites aren't bad. Will be deleting them and using counters though.![]()
Why delete, and not just turn them off? I was wondering about that one day -- like if I select to use counters instead of sprites, does some mechanic in the game still make my PC load the sprites?
I don't know if it'll be true for HOI3 or not, but HOI2 loaded the sprites even if you played with counters. Deleting/renaming the sprites directory outright makes running, and particularly loading, the game much faster. Why delete, and not just turn them off? Sprites in this engine are 3d not bitmaps and they influence differently. I agree, there is not much point, though it might do something. It did in the old EU engine. I don't think it does in EUIII, though, so that problem is likely solved.
