Does anyone have a link to the past comments by one of the Devs (Doomdark?) stating they won't do or have difficulty seeing how certain ideas would work? I remember it was a lengthy post but can't find it.

Haha, well I was having afternoon tea with Johan and Groogy, (I was there on behalf of the CK2 forumites) sipping green tea together, when all of a sudden Groogy put a dead platypus on the table and started using it as a hand puppet, that's when he revealed to me through the platypus that the "dead were coming", he then accidentally poisoned himself with the venomous ankle fangs on the platypus, by this point I was being escorted by fully armoured vikings to my taxi, writing my prophetic story as I went, when I last saw Johan sucking the poison out and spitting green tea on the wound (no idea why he was doing that).
You do know that platypus venom isn't poisonous right? That being said I heard that it hurts like a sun of a gun.
It's the theocracy DLC, one of those wagons has a pope and a bunch of cardinals in it. :nodnod:
If you zoom in on the pic, it looks (admittedly, very blurry) like the thing across the river is a settlement and that part of it has plume of smoke coming from it. Makes me think that maybe they are some kind of persecuted group of people fleeing their homes.

Well, looks like the speculation hs slowed down and all that I can wonder is when they shall announce the DLC.
Next week, or the week after that. So far at least they have, in a roundabout way, confirmed that they are working on a new DLC, hence the picture.

I agree it was well written and kind of made me want to read the story. The only problem is, the Scottish did not wear kilts during this time period, (not for almost a hundred years after the end date).
That's the most sensible idea in this thread so far. It's going to be patch 2.0 after all, so who says they couldn't patch in the weather.
Yes, weather I dream of! It just fits so well into the person focused role playing of CK2. In EU4 it's sort of reduced to a source of attrition, but in CK2 it would give so much immersion and really affect the game play.
I for one hoped that this is the shot for Sons of Abraham. Extending the game well over to the migration period (or Dark Ages for the matter) would be too long for me. TOG starting date is as far I can stand to play. Plus, CK2 is played through an era of vassals....EU through budding nation-states, let it stay like that.
Well, they can expand the abrahamic religions more, right? Especially bringing a fix to that sucky decadence system with the patch. More depth. less width, if you ask me.
