"Something went wrong while updating the launcher" Error

Hi, i have a problem with my paradox launcher. I notice the message from the picture from the attachment and noticed I got stuck on v 2020.12 of the Launcher. I did the fix posted on the main thread of the Launcher v 2020.14 and now i got that version but that error message doesn't go. I did the fix when you completely uninstall the launcher and that fix got me stuck on v 2020.12 only the first fix I mentioned got the 2020.14 version. But I dont know whats wrong and if this issue it's going to prevent me getting future updates...

That error will be causing you no problem at all at present. It is possible it will prevent future updated from applying, in that case we can force the update as you did this time.

I have seen this a few times but don't really know what is causing it, I can see it might be a firewall or antivirus getting in the way.

Thank you for your quick reply! I use Windows Defender and after so long this problem appeared only recently... i don't know what it's causing it. Okay then i have to force update the launcher until a fix comes
