I recently downloaded the 'Revenge of the 3rd World' and 'Way to Power' scenarios and now my game crashes instantly once a game is completely loaded. Not sometimes...but all the time. Even after I deleted every single extra scenario I have downloaded. I fear something happened to the 1700.inc file but I'm not sure. By the way I have 1.07b.

Have you tried the obvious, reinstalling the game ?

New scenarios are very prone to random crashes due to unintentionally introduced ID conflicts etc. I have made this daunting experience while working on the 'Improved Grand Campaign'. Actually most of the hours I spend on this is going into hunting down such crash bugs now. To all scenario makers I strongly suggest to playtest their scenarios thoroughly before release. I myself only send new versions of our IGC scenario to Doomie, when I have succeeded in playing a full game without a single crash.

It's probably that illegal warez copy you're using... :)

Bah! I ordered the German version from Games24. I even mentioned it a long time ago on these forums somewhere! I don't even know how to install an illegal game; And if I did know how, I wouldn't. (I'm not very computer litterate.)

Ok, I'll try reinstalling the LEGAL GERMAN GAME THAT I ORDERED FROM GAMES24 later, I have to get to school.

I too experience random crashes, both when I used the 1.05b and now the 1.07b SE version. It happens about once every 5th hour or so. That's something I can live with though, because that is the only time the outside world can communicate with me ;) . At all other times I'm preoccupied with conquering the world. I would not be surprised if my girlfriend sues Paradox for it ;) .
