Yeah, this is minor, but to be clear, do you mean EMF+SWMH on 2.2.1? That'd be expected. If you mean EMF does this on the vanilla map on 2.2.1, I'd be very confused indeed, because the fix for the issue on 2.3 was entirely in [standalone] SWMH. If EMF only does it w/ SWMH, then I'd assume SWMH plus anything else also does it?
I'd have to check,
zijistark, and I will as it's dead easy to plug it in and plug it off again, but I probably
was using SWMH with EMF in that install as I absolutely love SWMH's map. I have tried HIP with the Vanilla map a couple of times, but I don't know if that was one of those times. I do know, however, that I tried with just EMF pulled out (whatever other modules I had installed at the time I don't know, probably most of them. I'm a fan

), and the issue went away. But I'll check.
UPDATE: Checked it and now I'm even more confused. I ran it with everything except SWMH, invite to court was fine. Then I ran it with everything except EMF, invite to court was just fine too. And then, to replicate what I suspected was my original troubled install, I ran it with everything, including SWMH and EMF, and that... worked just fine too... Which I know for a fact it didn't before. Back then, everybody said "no" and I didn't even have a tool tip telling me why they said no. But not this time.
I must have had done something wrong back then. The only thing I can think of is that I'd been rolling back and forth a lot among the "betas", and maybe I'd manage to bork something. This newest install was a result of me throwing my hands up, uninstalling CKII entirely, then reinstalling it and then immediately rolling back to 2.2.1.
Bottom line is that I was wrong. The 2.2.1 (Charlemagne) version of HIP works perfectly fine. I'm sorry about that, but thanks for taking the time and giving me some suggestions.
I've updated my post above so nobody gets the wrong idea because of my confusion.
