What, just tech for cash? The only offers the AI has given me is when they offer a tech and £1500 for one of my claims.

how many times did you notice this? I only saw it once

I see it quite a lot when I own claims a nation I have good relations with wants. Proably 8-12 a game.

I think you're being a bit too positive here... Just look at Africa in 1920 at the end of GC. Most coastal provs are still only claims. The AI doesn't trade them, usually. You got lucky, that's all...

No, I think the AI tries to trade, but it always offers a tech + £1500. Try offering that to the AI for a claim, even with +200 relations you will have a 0% chance. If the AI would offer more for claims I'm sure they would change hands more readily.
