Someone help please! Save modding question!

I encountered a problem while i was playing the game. When I DoW greece or any other balkan country I seem to create the WW 1,5. I don't want that to happen. And there is no way of cancelling guarantee indepences in any way so I see that the only way to cancel the guarantee independence straight from the save file. Now could someone please tell me what to edit out and how? And i don't even know where to find the save files from so could you tell that too?

go to your paradox interactive folder then HOI2 then scenarios then saved games.

which saved file you wish to change you find it on the list (not the 1 kb file but the one that is between 14,000 and 19,000 kb. open it with notepad. i have not removed a guarantee of independence so i will not comment on that part.
