So, I'm doing a Freegypt run, and well, everyone on the continent has fallen, leaving just the UK and its puppets fighting the Axis. The Reich hasn't declared on the Soviets yet, so they Soviets are looming in the background. Which makes this a bit... confusing.

There are five, FIVE Panzer Divisions in North Africa. The Reich keeps throwing Panzer Divisions into North Africa. There was one, which I neatly outmaneuvered, and then two, and when I did the same to them, the number kept going up. Shortly after the screenshots were taken, there were a total of *seven* Panzer Divisions as well as a number of Infantry Divisions.

I think the AI's priorities need to be tweaked a tad. North Africa should not be a black hole for Axis Divisions.

Africa, and Europeans taking African Safaris, has been a sore subject since release. The issue has also been constantly tweaked in each patch.

If you have any saves from before and after this occurred please create a bug report and include them. PDS is always looking for more data that will allow them to tweak the strategic priorities more.

Sound like if they're not at war with anyone on the continent for now it's semi-sensible if a bit short sighted. Nice maneuvering - did you add AT to any divisions?

No, my divisions were 2x2 Inf and that's it. I pushed them back that far by maneuver, not engagement. By the end there were eight panzer divisions that I ended up encircling and eliminating with pretty worthless divisions. Certainly my finest hour as a player.
