Someone else with Vnet trouble

Im having similar trouble to the other guy who posted about vnet problems, when i connect most of the channels are greyed out, often the graphics havent loaded properly and when i click on another channel to join it it freezes and i have to use ctrl+at+delete to shut it down.

Reading the specs on the nack of the box made me think my low specs could be to blame but the first time i tried to connect it worked fine! Except for the fact i couldnt join the only game because it said IP unknown of something. It might be that im running vnet from internet sharing over my small network but then why did it work first time and not since then? I have reinstalled it since then, is that it? Do i need to re-reinstall?

Ive had so many problems with the game in the last week.....not a happy bunny. Thx in advance for any help.

I think I'd start by doing another complete uninstall, defrag your hard drive and then reinstall once more in case there is something relating to your recent install that's causing problems. If you'res till having problems then please provide me with you complete system specs and we'll go from there.

OK. I repaired it all and now have no trouble accessing vnet BUT cannot join games or get anyone into mine. When i try to join games it says the IP is not found. Why would this be? Im using the net through a network but games like StarCraft run fine on it and i have no trouble playing on Battle.net. I turn my firewall off and every program i can but still i cant join.

The ip thing is a firewall problem, that's for sure. Is your network protected by a firewall? Do you use windows XP?

I may be of some help here. I access the internet over a small network I share with my housemates. I find that every so often I get the "cannot connect to host IP ...." error when i try to join games. I find that rebooting both my proxy server and my own PC fixes this problem.
