For starters, the game looks beautiful overall. I mean, wow, what a great job Paradox has done with the visual design for this game.
With that said, the organization of the interface in some places definitely still feels pretty raw, so here are some observations on that. Currently playing on 1920x1080p.
1. The "Pause" text at the top of the screen should stand out more, either by increasing the size or creating more contrast/adding a thicker outline to the text. Due to the nature of the game's auto-pause for events, it can be easy to lose track of the pause status, and the current text just doesn't pick up well with one's periphery vision compared to, say, EU4.
2. The event box should either always pop-up in the top visual layer, or be moved higher up the screen. A common annoyance is when a battle occurs and a knight is wounded. Because the event box appears behind the battle tracker at the bottom of the screen, you need to physically move the event box towards the top of the screen in order to close out the event box.
3. I'm having difficulty finding out what active wars a neighboring country is in and what the casus belli of the war is, as well as all participants. Ideally it should be available in the character page for that ruler like in CK2, but I'm not seeing it there (Unless I'm somehow missing it).
I know there's some more that I'm forgetting, so I'll be following up in this topic once I remember them. Post any additional suggestions below!
