For starters, the game looks beautiful overall. I mean, wow, what a great job Paradox has done with the visual design for this game.

With that said, the organization of the interface in some places definitely still feels pretty raw, so here are some observations on that. Currently playing on 1920x1080p.

1. The "Pause" text at the top of the screen should stand out more, either by increasing the size or creating more contrast/adding a thicker outline to the text. Due to the nature of the game's auto-pause for events, it can be easy to lose track of the pause status, and the current text just doesn't pick up well with one's periphery vision compared to, say, EU4.

2. The event box should either always pop-up in the top visual layer, or be moved higher up the screen. A common annoyance is when a battle occurs and a knight is wounded. Because the event box appears behind the battle tracker at the bottom of the screen, you need to physically move the event box towards the top of the screen in order to close out the event box.

3. I'm having difficulty finding out what active wars a neighboring country is in and what the casus belli of the war is, as well as all participants. Ideally it should be available in the character page for that ruler like in CK2, but I'm not seeing it there (Unless I'm somehow missing it).

I know there's some more that I'm forgetting, so I'll be following up in this topic once I remember them. Post any additional suggestions below!

4. The tooltips for the resource bar on the top right needs a breakdown of what is contributing to the numbers. If I scroll over prestige or piety, all I get is the current modifier and the level that resource is at.

5. I don't see why it is necessary for the Map Mode select to have an "Additional Modes" button for four map modes, when there is plenty of room on the bottom right just to include them without needing to click an additional button. Maybe they're planning to expand the modes, but as of right now it seems unnecessary. I do like the larger button to return to the "Realms" map mode, that's a good idea.

6. Ironman should be an available option on the Start New Game screen without going into the game options, like in EU4, as it is probably the most used game option on new game setup, and is required for achievements. It's easy to forget about it if you are either a new player or are cycling through a few different starts on the same day.

7. Splitting an army should change your mouse control to just one of the split armies, not both. No one would split an army then want to move the two armies together. This change would emulate EU4 army splitting.

8. Some building upgrades may not detail what upgrading does for you. I just upgraded the Tribal Market to Market Village and all it gave in the tooltip was the flavor text.

9. Playing on Ironman, there is no screen prompt advising the game is saving, which can lead to minor frustration in trying to order an army, clicking off, then realizing the army isn't moving and redoing it once play resumes.

You said "post any additional suggestions below" so here's one: When looking at another ruler's vassals, you can see their opinion of their liege, but there's no tooltip there to see the breakdown of that number. You have to go into the vassal's character sheet to see it. Just put the damn tooltip right there, like it is in CK2.
