I don't like the idea, that Bataillons are always a fix combo of soldiers (sometimes weapon) and vehicle.

Historical Bataillons got upgrades (and sometimes even downgrades) of their means of transport:
  • feet
  • horses
  • trucks
  • mech
wouldn't make it more sense, if there would be just an option to determine the mean of transport in the division designer?

Similar to "reserve - standard - elite" ?

If you change the "vehicle" the Divison will loose x% XP.

If PDX would make this possible, there would be another great option possible (at least from my point of view):

Allow to assign outdated vehicles to Divisions:

I always have tons of outdatet Mechs and AC, I would give to 2nd Line INF or Garrison (Yes, know this is already possible, but much to complicated right now)

Btw. Should horses be an "unlimeted" and "for free" ressource?

EDIT: I'm aware, that you could just change the Division-Templates, but therefore you have to spend tons of XP just to change the "same" Division from "INF" to "MOT" or "MECH".

Horses are definetely not free, but specially bred for different purposes and were in short supply, as they provided Transport and agricultural power across europe.
Part of the drive towards mechanization was a lack of horses.
