A few minor things could easily be improved from my point of view:

1. number of historical Generals / Admirals:

  • Maybe it's just me, but in almost every game I have to buy at least 20+ Generals, and I really hate it, to get 5 to 6 time the same portrait just with different fantasy names.
  • I don't ask for more "free" leaders, but it shouldn't be that much effort to add some historical (name, picture, and maybe stats).
  • Optional there could be the choice to get "better" leaders for higher costs.
  • HOI I had tons of historical leaders with detailled stats and if it's to much effort to edit the portrait images, I would also take the one from HOI I.
  • I would even be willing to pay for a "historical leader"-pack, like armor or radio pack!

2. Traits / XP:
  • It's a nice flavor that generals/admirals could earn traits - but it's really frustrating, when it is completly impossible to achieve most of these traits!
  • While some traits are super easy, especially the terrain-traits are almost impossible to achieve if you don't go WWI-style!
  • Meanwhile 1950 not one of my "permanent in duty"-generals is even close to any terrain-trait!
Some suggestions to improve this:
  • Especially "Blitzkrieg"-Doctrines should give some bonus to XP, as the doctrine says not to have long battles!
  • Terrain-traits should get reduced from 700XP to 600XP
  • And it should be possible to earn up to 200XP through training in that terrain-type and another 200XP through travelling in this terrain-type
  • besides terrain-traits, this should also be done for "organizer" and "able staff member" (or whatever they are called in english).
Also Admirals will almost never achieve any new traits (at least in my games, as my fleet sinks the AI fleets much to fast).
