Sorry for the noob question, but it seems I can't get it right:

With some countries, it's just impossible to land amphibious assaults on enemies. not because it's hard, just because of a very annoying supply problem.
If I try to strike a continent I don't have physical access to (for example: landing a German strike on Africa with no adjacent allied territory) my troops seem alright in the beginning - I'm pressing on with the attack and the units get supplied. and suddenly, after a while, the supplies stop coming and I'm forced to pull my forces out before they dissolve. I know I could use transport planes to supply, but they are just annoying and expensive to make.
Any idea what can I do before I renew my strike on French Algiers? :D

Did you create a supply lane from germany to africa? Because if you didn't then the supplies brought over in your transport will go eventually.

However if you did, did you check to make sure that your supply ships aren't being sunk because if they are, no supplies will come long your route. Also it could be that your supply line doesnt have enough transports to supply your whole army, try taking supply ships out of other less important routes (old ones or ones supplying areas were there are no armies) and putting them in your African one, this usually helps me!

Hope it helps you! :D

1) This is no tech support question, but a gameplay one. Please use the general forum next time... ;)

2) Your troops are not being supplied, not even in the beginning. But the amphibious assault mission does "teleport" a certain amount of supplies to the landing site. It is meant to keep your troops alive until the automated convoy system has adopted to the new situation, which in your case doesn't happen at all.

3) Convoy routes are created automatically. But you need to manually produce convoy transports. Did you do that? What does the production window tell you about your available convoy ships? Does it have the convoy to your landing provinces listed (with too little ships actually assigned to it)?
