The metro system is changed a lot compared with CiM 1. It is really flexible than before. But maybe something are not considered by the CO. There are just some suggestions.

Metro system

1. How do the train change rail on the four rail track? There are no turnout which let train change the rail even for same direction. Maybe add the turnout which is like the turnout in CiM 1 which at both ends of the station (though it is to the opposite direction in CiM 1).

2. There is a bug when the four rail track connect to two or four rail track. Only three track are connected to the other. metro.jpg

3. Lack of transfer station is a pity in CiM2. It would be better if we can connect the nearby station with underground sidewalk. (I didn't test whether it can be done now.) And no island platform is also a pity.

Some details

1. The stairs walkway is a thing which some people want. When the slope is steep, we can use stairs to connect. It can also be use to build pedestrian bridge.

2. Another thing is ... Maybe there are too many people in the late evening, and rush hours seem to later than the dev diary.

3. Also, the building type is not as variable as the CiM 1, such as government and some detail ornaments.

4. The logo are not very clear on the desktop.

5. And the lack of sounds is also a pity compared with CiM1. Where is sounds of the open and close the vehicle doors? Where is coin sound? And the music is only played in the morning and evening rush hours. In CiM1, different areas have different background music. It is really good.

6. The wheel of vehicle don't rotate as before.

I think the game is great. But I really hope that it can be much better.

My main annoyance with the metro system is that you have to place the rail before you can place the stations, it was a lot easier in CiM1 where you could place the station where you wanted to and then connect the rail to it.

Two-way metro!
I miss that! We need that back! Same with trams. A loop or using depot to turn is unrealistic, and quite stupid! And it takes way to much space, cost too much....
And a single two-way metro (and tram) track. Sometimes you just need one track, but want both directions to use it.
But I agree to everything above (except rail before station)

I agree, it would be great if we could connect the platforms ourselves using underground sidewalks (maybe an even narrower version of the "pedestrian street" would be great. Stairs for steep pedestrian slopes is a great idea, and I would also add ploppable metro station access buildings and stairways as well. I'll add a diagram to illustrate later. :)
