I know that France is maybe only a matter of some weeks but despite this fact i would have some questions to more experienced players to put a brave fight in my first MP session.

1) Does it make sense upgrading all 1,2 and 3 IC provinces once?
2) When supporting the Rep. in the spain civil war how many armies france is allowed to send as exp. forces.
3) How much time do i have?...when is belgium,France normally dowed?
4) As France has pretty good ressources which they obviously do not need to whom it should sent convoys with iron, stell, rubber and oil?
5) Attacking through Belgium is german standard attack...ever seen a attack through Maginot?
6) When Belgium is fallen which is the next most critical province?
7) Is it allowed to military control Belgium and Nederlands forces during war.(maybe even before)
8) When France is about to fall, how many units i m allowed to save?
9) Anything else i should obey ag human players.?
10) How to spent political points.
11) Does normally Italy involve in the French campagne?

Tku in advance for assistance.

The answers below are given without any guarantee and we take no responsibility whatsoever

1) Does it make sense upgrading all 1,2 and 3 IC provinces once?
It makes sense to upgrade "loyal provinces", i.e. those unlikely to turn Vichy or likely to be quickly liberated if they turn Vichy
2) When supporting the Rep. in the spain civil war how many armies france is allowed to send as exp. forces.
Fully depends on house rules.... This is NOT going to make the US happy though

3) How much time do i have?...when is belgium,France normally dowed?
Anytime between Sept 38 and Summer 40... Usually on the historical date of Sept 39
4) As France has pretty good ressources which they obviously do not need to whom it should sent convoys with iron, stell, rubber and oil?
Again depends on house rules... The soviet will be happy to get the rubber, canada the coal

5) Attacking through Belgium is german standard attack...ever seen a attack through Maginot?
ah ah ah ah.......... YES

6) When Belgium is fallen which is the next most critical province?
All of them  Lille is a favorite though (open terrain)

7) Is it allowed to military control Belgium and Nederlands forces during war.(maybe even before)
YES (barring house rules to the contrary)
8) When France is about to fall, how many units i m allowed to save?
House rules again... I play with 12, which seems reasonable

9) Anything else i should obey ag human players.?
Should accept Vichy if it is proposed
10) How to spent political points.
Coordinate with UK... It will depend on the allied policy
11) Does normally Italy involve in the French campagne?
Depends.... A popular Italian tactic is to grab south of France and all it can in Africa.. This territory remains italian after Vichy occurs

France isn't that bad. I just finished a 39 MP game in which France successfully attacking across the Rhine was the trigger for German surrender. I'm playing France myself in the rematch and things are going quite well. Germany took Poland and Yugoslavia but then decided to attack Italy. With French support and leadership, Italy has held up quite well and the French have upgraded much of their armour and airforce during the first winter. I'm optimistic that this will be another Allied victory.

But it seems that you're talking about the 36 scenario. My answers there are:

1. Yes, I usually upgrade all the IC 1 and 2 provinces. The 3 IC provinces are debatable.

2. The game puts no limit on exp forces and I've seen the entire French army there in some games. But that's silly and you should house rule that you can only send exp forces to members of the same alliance.

3. 1939 +/- one year.

4. France has a resource shortfall, as you'll find when your stockpiles are exhausted. Run down your stockpiles then ask UK for convoyed coal and steel.

5. Metz is often ungarrisoned by the AI and a paradrop can take it.

6. Paris is the key Province.

7. Belgium and Netherlands can be controlled after they have been DoWed - they then join the Allies.

8. Sauve qui peut. (every man for himself)

9. It's churlish to refuse Vichy if you're not planning to play on as the Free French. Usually you accept Vichy and rejoin as another country like USA.

10. Influence/coup Italy if it's AI. Nationalist spain can be couped too - note that you have a minister who's good at this.

11. Italy doesn't want to tangle with the French navy but the Italian front will open up if Germany gets stuck in the north.

1) If you are playing 36 scenario there is almost no hope of France surviving the German assault unless your German player is an imbecile. Upgrading colonies that will be usable by the French after vichy is okay but don't upgrade all the land that the axis will get.
2) Depends on game rules. 3 land, 3 sea, 3 air is typical of HOI PA games.
3) If you are playing historical rules then expect it from about 39 onwards unless the war has broken out already. The German player may attack France before Poland.
4) Soviet Union/Canada/China maybe - some house rules ban sending resources to neutral countries.
5) It has always been through belgium in my experience - though don't leave the maginot lightly defended else you will experience a maginot assault.
6) I agree with Lille - it tends to be a point for a breakout across the northern face of France towards Paris using the good terrain for speed.
7) Usually you can and it is worth doing. Check house rules.
8) Check house rules.
9) Accept vichy if offered, check house rules.
10) You could try couping countries with your spare points - share tech as much as the house rules allow with the allies.
11) If the rules don't stop them they usually do. Typical house rules say that Italy can't join in until the fall of Paris.

GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN! :)
