So, after a dozen of Unbidden invasions i finally got the AI Revolt for the first time.

First i got a message that rebellion have started, then a message from synths about how they're going to kill me.
I've noticed that one of the other empires have lost a planet and send my fleet there. I didn't encounter an enemy fleet, only 20K station guarding the planet. I've conquered the planet and now in the process of purging synths living there.

Now, this machine consciousness doesn't have any color and their emblem is just a question mark. Because of that it's hard to see if they have any other planets left. I've read on the wiki that there is two parts to this crisis: rebel empire and infiltration stage.

My question is: do you get any kind of acknowledgement that rebel empire is destroyed? A message or something? How can i know if i finished first part of the crisis?

If its the same as unbidden, then I think you get a large opinion modifier with all other empires if you've crushed the AI rebellion. Not sure though, I've yet to crush the AI rebellion (my last save with it is in 1.2, which is ancient now)

Something definitely went wrong in my game. Beside initial planet spawn no rebellions whatsoever. And i had over 200 synths in my empire.
10 years after crisis start i got AI Accord event even though i didn't had any rebellions anyway. After that for 40 years no infiltration events at all.
Maybe in 300 more hours i'll get this crisis again and have more luck with it. :D

I've never had this event happen naturally. And every time I try to console it in.. it doesn't work right.
Usually what happens is there will be some planet covered in synths and droids that promptly rebels, slowly kill off its garrison (the max fortification penalty really hurts them), and then.. the droids and synths just disappear off the surface and their armies embark into XYZ-box placeholder models where they sit till some fleet comes along and blows them up. Aside from their home planet, they never really succeed in getting any territory.

I have also seen their home planet spawn with some random mammalian species (instead of synths), who were all extremely unhappy at the lack of atmosphere.
