I restored the Roman Empire and moved my capital to Rome by the event .
But Constantinople has much higher technology than Rome so I want to move my capital back to Constantinople .
The Roman culture are spreading across Italy after I selected "Roman Renaissance" , so I want to know will it stop after I move my capital back to Constantinople ?
thanks

Edit : there is also a event let me choose if burn all the church in Rome . What will happen if i burn all the church ?

As a general rule, you have to wait (don’t remember exactly how many years) to move your capital if you have done it in a short time, except if it’s de jure. So I guess the Roman Empire has Rome as de jure capital and not Constantinople.

IIRC it removes some of the church holdings so you can replace them with castles or cities. :)

600 months by default in feudal, though the imperial government of the Byzantine and Roman Empires are "blessed" with a 2,000 month waiting period. :O Since he moved his capital by event/decision rather than the regular way I'm not sure if it would have triggered the waiting period, though?

I’m not sure either but I think the waiting period won’t be reduced and Rome still is de jure capital so I believe it works as the regular way. But if you aren’t playing Ironman you can always use the Console.

Yeah, I'm just not sure if the waiting period is even triggered when you move by decision/event rather than through the regular process. :)
