So, I love playing with public transport in this game, and I won't list many of the features from the CiM games here, as I assume the devs have those in mind anyway. So, here in short:

1) Have more train station options, either without buildings, a small building or, most importantly, with elevated platforms to put them near intersections. Cims seem to prefer metro stations, as they are more convenient to get to.

2) Make trains economically more viable, compared to other public transport options, especially metros. What is the reasoning behind metros having only a fraction of the running costs, compared to trains? Smaller and elevated stations may make that a natural result.

3) Similar to elevated train stations, having bus stations on elevated roads would be nice, with the ability to either snap pedestrian pathways to that elevated road (an option sorely missing compared to CiM2) or having a staircase as a special "pathway" piece that snaps to pathway and elevated road.

So I think these are the most important changes I would appreciate very much.

Of more general use, although also useful in this context, would be:

4) Have a traffic tool like in SC4, which shows where traffic on a particular network piece comes from and goes to. I guess that would be the biggy to implement, so I'm not having my hopes up in this regard.
