Thought I would highlight some obstacles you may encounter when converting scenarios from eu2 to ftg.
Hopefully others will add to this so people can avoid the pitfalls that await.
1) User Tags (U##) are not allowed (same with AND and NOT). - can a mod combine this thread and the other one I started? http://www.europa-universalis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=443176
2) The orthodox tech in events (torthodox) causes errors, its been changed to orthodox.
3) cultures. Uzbekh has been changed to uzbekh and chihan has been changed to han.
4) Remove all instances of 'dynamism = #' from the inc files. It will cause errors.
5) Unknown countries in event files. For some reason SUD, SHA and JER are being classed as unknown countries.
Well I have finally made it to the 'initialising script' message, where it then hangs and I have to control-alt-delete.
No-one said it was going to be easy.
So if you are encountering incompatible elements in converting your scenarios from eu2, post them here. Lets see what we can cobble together.
