i started two games with the new dlc. One with Switzerland, one with Germany. As my experience with Switzerland is rather low, i would like to focus on Germany.
I have to admit that the playing of HoI changed a lot. I have success, but there are new issues.
1) altough i updated my planes to 1940 Chasis and included several 4xMGs in my figher planes, air combat seems like throwing with cotton balls. 1.000 planes on each side and the losses are single digit- most of the time 1 or 2. I thought that improving radar could help, but i still got a bombing raid after the other. Now i have in each province in France, Germany and Skandinavia 300 planes on intercept and the air is quite - perhaps due to the fact that i invaded UK.
2) UK surrendered, but Allies keep on fighting. The USA is still neutral, why is the war not over? Normally this should the end of the Allies.
3) War support: huge problem. I paid no iattention to this before. But war support and therefore stability dropped due to the bombing raids, the war losses and the sunken transports and uboots during sea lion. 12% war support as Germany. Not so many dead people, UK, Skandinavia, Spain, the Balkan, Northern and East Africa all in the hands of the Achse- and no hurray? No enthusiasm? We are winning! I can improve the situation with propaganda speeches, but this is at a high power point cost.
4) due to the low war support i can´t swap to the nextr war service law
5) rebels have high levels. Staying on civil oversight is not possible, even in Czecheslovakia. I am trying collaboration, but several countries have military leader. But the damage of the rebels to the infrastructure is not so high. It feels that i do something right.
6) supply seems a lot better in Africa. I had a little trouble in front of Kairo. But South east my divisions were well organized and therefore they should have enough supply.
7) with Switzerland i managed to reach 0 stability on my way to force the ruling power par to the left. Afterwards i got no more political power and was not able to change anything. Still i won the war together with the Allies. But even the end of the war against the Axis didn´t help because Turkey declared war on Iran (and neutral Sovjetunion)
8) As Switzerland i got south eastern France with the focus. Due to manpower shortage the lands fall apart and became independent. and was quickly overrun by France After the war i had no chance to take the tiles back to my country.
Edit: 9) the time for juistifying war goals as Germany was really quick. A couple of days and i was able to invade Sveden.
10) i need insane amounts of rubber.Before BBA i had some shortage, now i need 138 rubber for my production. i build several raffineries, but still in shortage.
Do you have similiar experience? What can i do better?
