I don't get why I keep reading on this forum that ck2 is one of the simplest paradox game. I played a lot of them (though not ck1) and I think the exact opposite, maybe only vic2 was so hard to start with.
Main difficulties for me is the interface and the hereditary system.
Where can you see the ereditary system of a foreign, let's say, political entity?
How can you keep trace of you family? After a couple of generation I can't say for sure which are the liens with my relatives. The tree view is just too limited. Is there an alternative?
What's the use of the ledger? In other paradox game using it is a must, but here I don't know what to do with it.
A last, practical question: what is a good start for experimenting whit hereeditary stuff without beeing overwhelmed llike it happened to me in Rostov (everybody there is your relative, but I did'nt really know any of them)
