Does Portugal get a flag for the republic? I noticed the naval ensign of the monarchy in one of those. (naval ensign was 1/3 blue, 2/3 white, while the national flag was 50/50. I love nitpicks ;) Although that flag is neither, it looks like 1/4 blue) Yay, first thing to mod found!

Oporto again. And after getting it right in HOI. Oh well... I wonder if we get the joys of Lissabon again. (yes, I know, province names were discussed extensively, it's hard reaching a compromise, etc.)

I especially like the screenshot of the CSA and their flag in the frame (which is not shown in this screenshot). I counted 48 Confederate provinces. (three of Northern Virginia's are cut off in this screenshot) This is more than I hoped for after seeing that first screenshot of Texas a while back so I am very pleased. :)

looking at columbia in that pic is it safe to say that the rebels political color are black? in russia they looked the same. also, one thing i have thought about is amount of provinces soon become a nuisance? i mean belgium has about 30 and i thought the HOI provinces were nice.

it just makes the game slower pase, while in the 1800 and stuff there wasnt any blitzkreig so speed wasnt very important back then i think it will make the game like a war of atrittion were the goal is to slowly wear them down until you reach the capitol.

Well that's what they want WWI to be like and that's what the game builds up to.

Two questions:

1. How did the confederates get Oklahoma?

2. Why is southern New Jersey called Atlantic City? Atlantic City was a backwater until gambling became legal about 70-80 years ago. It certainly would not have been a major city in the 1800s. That one should be called Camden or something else.

More province's has many advantages and maybe also some disatvantages.

One of the best advantage i can think of is for minor nations.Atleast 1 province minors will be very scarce ,and if you have an area with a hughe amount of small nations (like south Germany for ex) then you dont need to sacrifice some nation's.See in AON (EUII mod) some nations had to be sacrifised because the province they were in was so big that more minor's would have historicly been in that place ,thus forcing the modder to place only the most important one there. Also for reasons of conquering ,as in Aon they sometimes had to hive a nation a core on a province were historicly they only held a part of it ,and another nation an core on the same province since they held the other part of it.

Believe me ,there are many EUII modmakers that have come many times to a situation were they wished they could have devided a province in two due to historical reasons.

Dude! Look at all these screenshots on the Spanish Forum!!

VICTORIA: Primeras pantallas versión en Castellano

Look at all the cool screenshots they have there!!! Maps of America and Europe, screenies from the ACW and WW1! Why don't we get them, too? I think I need to get a Spanish dictionary. There's a bunch of lines that hint at what the game's gonna be like...

English event:
"17 Agosto, 1914: 8th Submarine Flotilla ha llegado a Strait of Dover"
(submarines are in!!!!!)

CSA event:
"5 Julio, 1861: Nos ha sucedido lo siguente: Sequoyah se una a los estados del Sur!"
(so events decide secession state by state?)

Those are screenies by the Spanish publisher (hence Spanish text), linked to their website. And since there's a thread about it already, let's move a bit cloer together. :)
