First off, thank you for this amazing game. Personally I think Tyranny is among the top 10 CRPGs ever, quite an accomplishment :)

Anyway, here are some more or less minor issues I discovered late in the game, which you might want to look into. This is all on a story difficulty Trial of Iron solo-run where I went Anarchy path, so I can't give you save throughout, but I've included my last save should you need it.

Can't kill Cairn
Somehow I managed, totally inadvertently, to get in a situation where I can't finish off Cairn and end the Edict of Stone. I became Prima of the Stonestalker tribe and completed all the side quests in Stone Sea (except Return to the Wild, I killed Left-Claw and "failed" it), got the Azure Shield and returned it to Bleden Mark. I then went to Howling Rock. When I got there all the Earthshakers were dead, and there were no people there at all. I couldn't interact with Cairn at all. I never got any quest to kill him either, not sure if there should be one.

2 Azure Shields:
I used the "Growl" option (demanding she give the shield to her Prima) on Red-Fang and she gave me the Azure Shield. Then I talked to her again and attacked her. She dropped a SECOND Azure Shield. I even got 2x the quest to return it to Bleden Mark.

2 Iron Marshals
I killed Iron Marshal Erenyos during the battle of Vendrien's Well (I was allied with the Vendrien Guard at that time) and took her Iron Marshal Heirloom Blade. When I much later attacked Graven Ashe, she was back alive, and dropped another Iron Marshal Heirloom Blade.

Can't return the Magebane Helm
This is probably working as intended. I was wearing the magebane helm all the time after I got it, and had totally forgotten that it was supposed to keep the bane away from Lethian's Crossing. I was reminded in the final conversation with Tunon, but I did not pick the "It will be returned" option. After that, I tried to go back to Lethian's Crossing to put it back, but I could find no way to do that.

That's all I could remember for now :)

I can confirm this too. Also got his blade twice, this way.

Greetings!

Firstly, thank you very much for your time, and we are very glad that you enjoyed playing the game. It is an honor to be counted among some of the top CRPGs.

Second, I'll be addressing this piece by piece to better break down the separate issues.

Did you get to Howling Rock in Act II or in Act III, because if you go there in Act II you should be able to attack the Earthshaker compound and claim the area for yourself, however if you get to Howling Rock in Act III, the only thing that will be there are the dead corpses and an unkillable Cairn (which sounds like what you described and what was in the save game).

This is a known issue that we have been tracking, and will hopefully come to address in a later patch.

This is an issue I've not seen before and was unable to reproduce on my own, @player1 fanatic do you know what faction you helped originally, and if you betrayed them at Ascension Hall? Did you kill Iron Marshal Erenyos in the Eastern Citadel (if you were a rebel) or at Ascension Hall/Mountain Spire via kicking her off the Spire or slaying her (if you originally sided with the Disfavored or Scarlet Chorus)? And @Asherett you said you were sided with the Vendrien Guard and thus killed her in the Eastern Citadel, but when did you make the transition to the Anarchy quest path? Was it at Ascension Hall or elsewhere?

Can't return the Magebane Helm
This is probably working as intended. I was wearing the magebane helm all the time after I got it, and had totally forgotten that it was supposed to keep the bane away from Lethian's Crossing. I was reminded in the final conversation with Tunon, but I did not pick the "It will be returned" option. After that, I tried to go back to Lethian's Crossing to put it back, but I could find no way to do that.

I believe you still have the helmet equipped when you were speaking to Eldian, and when you take the Magebane Helmet off, you will be able to return it to him.

If you have any further issues or questions please do not hesitate to ask, and thank you very much for your time and support!

-Best,
Ian

Regarding Iron Marshal I was helping Vendrian Guard, and killed him in the field, and at the end of the game I was still with rebels and he has there as part final battle with Archon.

I have many saves from that playthorugh, please ask if you need any.

Okay, yep, I went there near the very end of the game so probably Act 3. I didn't really make a conscious choice not to kill Cairn though (hey, I lost out on 3 achievements!). I'm not sure what transitions to Act 3... That's fine though :)

This is an issue I've not seen before and was unable to reproduce on my own, @player1 fanatic do you know what faction you helped originally, and if you betrayed them at Ascension Hall? I betrayed the Vendrien Guard in the Ascension Hall (runic hall of the spire), claiming the spire for myself. I hadn't been allied with the Vendrien Guard very long, heh. I killed Fifth Eye, Eb and Tarkis Arri all on top of the spire immediately afterwards. I think I pinned the note to Tarkis Arri and kicked her off.

I believe you still have the helmet equipped when you were speaking to Eldian, and when you take the Magebane Helmet off, you will be able to return it to him.

Ok! :D

You guys also have the BEST support.

Greetings again!

@player1 fanatic if you could provide a save from before the Graven Ashe fight that would be most excellent, as well as a save before you kill Iron Marshal at Vendrien's Well Citadel so that we can verify what is going wrong. Thank you both again for your support and we will use the information provided to help fix this issue of two Iron Marshals appearing.

-Best,
Ian
