Hi all. Thanks a lot for your answers on previous posts but I have some questions that I haven't figured out yet.


1. When does the Japan Dow N. China in 1.06c because I have played games where the Japs dont Dow me at all and just wander around here and there, it's usually me that Dow's them and liberate korea.

2. I need help with the blitz. I understand the concept, but I need help with the organization of the tanks and how to set one up so that the infentry follows the tanks on perfect timing?

3. I never noticed that aircraft do anything... I have seen posts that talk about aircrafts whooping lots and lots of divisions yet every time I play a country like USSR which goes against the Luftwaffe, my infentry units barly take a couple org. points and loses a little strenth with every huge bombing.

4. Is artillery worth it for N. China because they can expand their IC's really fast and have the resorces to sustain their expanded economy. I love playing the chinese yet I find them at a disadvantage because they only have 20.2 manpower growth which is the same as Japan. How can you overwhelm the Japs with infentry if they can build as much infentry as you. Considerint the population I think N. China should double their manpower growth or add a School of mass combat leader.

5. While playing as U.S.A, I noticed that my infentry units with artillery have half the org. than its suppose to have. This is in '41 so my guess is that my org. will stay halfed until I go into war?

6. I noticed their are barly any people on Valkrynet(spelling). I thought their would be more games hosted on the internet but I can barly find one? Where is everone?

Normally after their election event IF they vote right wing. Otherwise, as you say, they often don't. The election is generally in 1937 IIRC.

I never use the Blitz attack myself, but time this the same way you would any other attack. In some situations you can send the armour in by itself, other times, send the inf in at the same time. Use 'right click' and 'control' to set these up.

The AI is not particularly efficient with air, so I would suggest that many of these posts talking about air attacks being devestating are ones launched by human players. I find AI air attacks annoying on occasion, but rarely any serious concern.

China starts with enough MP for this not to be an issue IMO. I tend to build regular inf, and lots of it for this reason as China. Artillery can come later, once you have enough vanilla inf to hold back the Japanese.

Correct. Democratic nations units are at 1/2 org til war.

There are people there - the group I play with host up there, and we see a reasonable amount of people even when the hours we play at, don't tend to be the same times as players from Europe and America. Just be prepared to be patient, or otherwise, propose a game here, or in the PA forum.

Blitzing does not work right in 1.06 It used to work in previous versions, but now the speed of the blitzing unit is way too slow. It's faster to just attack and win one province and then attack into the next than to blitz some units thru the first battle.

Air power can be devastating even when the AI uses it, but airpower can be greatly effected by terrain and weather and other factors. Bombers have almost no effect in jungles and often have little effect in mountains. But in open plains bombers can devastate your inf. Play the Soviet Union against AI Germany on very hard. As long as Germany gets the historic event outcomes and steamrolls Western Europe, when it attacks east their bombers will start to rip apart your troops. Inf AA seem to help a lot in beating off the German bombers.
