#1 Id like to see that coutries warfattigue decreases over time... Have you been for war for ower 15years gets peace, your fattigue drops to zero. then starts war again not likely... Id lke to war fattigue drop with one every say half a year...

#2 The game holds possible ways history could have went !... Therefor i suggest that some siberian provinces be implemented more to the north or the siberian road east be altered a bit north... If sweden want to move east that should be a posibility !

#3 Requesting Maps is bugged as it is... You can pause the game and try until you succeed... it should cost something to try !

#4 Colonising... A bug but i dont know what can be done... in 1492 you play sweden... you request maps from Turkey then from Persia and then from Oman... Suddenly you see the indian ocean... you convert to protestantism and start to build a colony at soccora (island south of oman) When completed you rase military tech 11. and about 1550 you launch an expeditions from this island to india !!! WOW

Well thats all from me... Hope it can help in EU2

1. I think that was under debate.
2. The northern corridor has been opened and some more provinces are being allowed. Which is evident in some of the screenshots.
3. Hmmmmmmmmmm.
4. Yeah, they are discussing the trading of maps, nothing decisive yet.

1. Good idea, but then it shouldn't be too severe...

2. Of course, PTI shouldn't be there at all! :)

3. You mean that if you ask, say 5 times, they're going to accept? I've never tried that before! :)

4. Agree here. This is very abusable by the human player.

Nope, but who says you can only ask 5 times ... you can ask 1,005 times if that's what it takes. As long as your relations are +ve and you have a reasonable trade (two-thirds of what you're getting or better) they'll agree *eventually*. And it doesn't cost diplomats to keep trying.

It loses a lot of its appeal when you don't, because you know before you start that you're going to win easily. Might as well just edit the scenario file so that you start the game owning every single province in the world, and then brag about how you conquered the world by January 1492. :D

I really hope some (or all) of these loopholes are corrected in EUII. It will be disappointing if they are not. Not disappointing enough that it would keep me from buying it but still...

I would like to see war exhaustion as less extreme when you are declared war upon. Maybe this is a modern thought, but the population should be more supportive of the war when you are not the aggressor. Just a thought.

They are: you don't get a stability hit. They still get worn out though.

The good news about EU is that it even models war fatigue, most other games imagine that you are nothing except for a permanent military/industrial complex. The only game (that I've played) that came close was Civ, and that was only when your military left your cities. The quirky/unrealistic thing was - the unhappiness factor was removed if the offending unit was destroyed in combat. I had many situations were my troops went off to the front after I'd be DoW'd and the civilians got antsy; but after my armies starting getting destroyed they'd settle down. It was almost like they were happy they didn't have to write the "Dear John" letters.

But enough OT. The war fatigue issue that bothers me is the fact that people get tired of war even if it doesn't have an impact on them. I've been part of defensive alliance wars where no foreign troops have set foot on my soil; conflict was limited to a few indecisive & low casualty naval engagements. My suggestion is to make war fatigue tied to the size of the military; the more manpower that is out of the country the greater the factor is.

I do have to say that the automatic white peace event is a great idea. This helps ease the hostilities between say Turkey & Sweden (who have no real way to get to each other) if the other alliance members settle separate peace.

The point I think is you should get worn out depending on the tenacity of the war fought. If it's a light war your people shouldn't care that much at all.

There are many bugs like that unfortunately. Most of them are a consequence of the pseudo-real time nature of the game. If it was turn based (obviously impractical) they wouldn't occur.

One example of this I posted in the FAQ bug list - intercepting fleets. You can just pause the game and click your fleet's destination back and forth in another sea zone until you intercept any fleet in your space. I think there are other examples, mostly to do with abusing the pause key/time rate.
