Okay so i started playing again now that utopia is out, just a few thoughts from my first game since.
Can't deconstruct individual robots??? I had to migrate the one robot pop from my homeworld to another just to get rid of it.
Changing pops from being allowed to grow to population controls stuck pops growing on tiles... forever.
Having a fanatic purifier in the galaxy seemed to break diplomacy, a fanatic pacifist xenophile joining in a federation with 3 authoritarian xenophobes (only 1 of the xenophobes was near the purifier).
No pop up to tell you to reform government when you have unlocked the 3rd slot.
Xenophobe race takes over fanatic purifiers planet and enslaves them they then revolt and ask to join me (egalitarian, militarist, materialist) because it makes sense for them to join me instead of their brethren.
About 100 years into the game and not had to look at the faction system.
I'm going to try another game as a xenophobe and see how it goes, in all honesty though I wouldn't class Utopia as an 'expansion' there's simply not enough in it.
