No, it has nothing to do with the game, I just collect lists of rulers (see my sig to follow my progress), and the Prince-Bishops of Durham were a hole I've been wanting to fill for awhile.

So is that a 'No' as in one cannot play ecclesiastical rulers, or just hesitance to answer with any definitiveness before the game's release?
Yeah. Surprisingly the time allowed for research during the game's development was not *quite* long enough to adequately research the complete genealogy of some 1000 provinces' ruling families (including non-ruling offspring) over the course of some 500-700 years (must have background prior to the start of each scenario) (Nikolai said:The game is gold, how can this help now?

If you do need any help, I'd be happy to take a stab at it. Have a wealth of genealogical resources, as well as experience in research, having traced my own family's line back to 1068.
