Well, I must say I am really starting to feel exited about this game these days! :) It looks really good, and with the "RPG" element, you might just have hit jackpot! Anyhow, here are some questions that can perhaps be answered in some form:

1. What level of control do you have over your dynasty? Is the only thing you do select who marries who, or can you control (to a degree) what education or life your kids live (Affecting their stats)?

2. How will the number of kids born be deceided? Randomness? In the old Genghis Khan game, you had several buttons. "Spend time with your family" both improved the stats of your sons once they came of leader age, and also allowed for a possibility of having a kid.

3. What deceides how much land you have under direct control? Will you have control over the armies of your vassals? Also, will this amount of land increase over the years, or perhaps decrease depending on certain factors?

4. Cultural and religious conversion. Will a conquered province slowly change to your culture and religion over the years? I can imagine there are certain limitations such as, unless an island; cultural conversion may only happen if you have a connection to your capitol etc, or not too far away from your mainland. I assume religious conversion will happen at any province you control.

5. Will combat be better than it was handeled in EU2? I am thinking about more bonuses for tactical choices. Flanking bonuses, encirclement bonuses, etc. EU2 was way too random for my brilliant tactical choices! :p

1) Yes, you dedice education, profession etc.
2) Depends on stats.
3) Your titles, your stewardship rating, the amount of sons demanding land.
4) Hard to explain :)
5) Its rather different, as the combat has phases, it has the different troops vs different troops mechanics we had in TT. Its a mix of Victoria, TT, EU2 and lots of new..

Whoa, thanks for the quick and good answers! I guess you are (logically) better of having just one son then, heh, but of course, that's a pretty big risk...

But if you have one son and he dies, and of course you would be already dead, its game over.

A few more questions popped into my head today....

1. Was thinking, at the start of each scenario, you start out with historic leaders. Do they die at a specific (historic) date, or is the deathdate calculated from the stats they have? I assume future generated leaders and rulers get this treatment.

2. Do we still have have army leaders aka EU2? How are they generated? Maybe if certain members of your dynasty receive appropriate training, they become leaders for use in conflict?

3. Will Norway be given a more accurate representation than Victoria? :D

Yes
Do they die at a specific (historic) date,
I dont know since I dont know the biography of them, when did Roger De'Hautivle the duke of Apulia die historicly?
or is the deathdate calculated from the stats they have?
Sometimes
Do we still have have army leaders aka EU2?
Yes
How are they generated?
Sometimes rather well, others rather poorly
Maybe if certain members of your dynasty receive appropriate training, they become leaders for use in conflict?
Some.

Norway ? I dont think its part of the game, after all its just frozen barbarian lands there anyway ;)

my god, this game will rock! Perhaps I'm allowed to post 1 quick question because it's not clear to me yet, in the forums I found yes/no on the matter,

1. Can you also play vassal counts or dukes?

(It would just be great to play the count of Flanders or the Duke of Brabant)

you know, even on my maps of middle age, the area in Brabant was known for good beer ;) :)
