I took these charts from several books i posess,

GNPper capita of the European Great Powers 1830-1890

Code:
		1830	1840	1850	1860	1870	1880	1890
Russia 170	170	175	178	250	224	182
France 264	302	333	365	437	464	515
Britain 346	394	458	558	628	680	785
Germany 245	267	308	354	426	443	537
Habsburg Empire 250	266	283	288	305	315	361
Italy 265	270	277	301	312	311	311

As you can see Britain's economy started strong and ended stronger, Italy started fairly strong and declined, while Germany overtook Austria Hungary
(this looks at income per person so naturally russia with it's serfs and whatnot should be low)

Also the United State's produced 23.6% of the world's goods in 1900 while the UK produced only 18.5% this is a decline from 22.9% in 1880. Japan with roughly 10% of Britain's industry produced 2.4%.

Just before the start of the ACW (1860) america produced 7.2% of the world's manufactoring output while Great Britain produced roughly three times that (19.9%).

Prussia economically stagnant in the first several decades of the 19th century began rapidly industrialising under Bismark. Finally with the defeat of France in the Franco-Prussian war Prussia replaced France as the premier continental power.

uh... the graph looks fine in the window where i type it but looks horrible in the actual view window i don't know how to fix this... sorry

Try editing it and putting the data in between [code ] [/code ] (only without the spaces in the brackets). It can still be very difficult to get the spacing correct, though.
