There is probably known but I observe that engine suddenly raise RR. For example, event gives +4RR for 40 months and -3 stab hit. For my surprise engine interpretation of it is to give player +7RR for all the time set in event. Another thing is that engine doesn't undo old random events while firing historical ones. For example player got Wave of Obscurantism (+3RR). Five months later historical event giving another +3RR happens. Player now has +6RR. Unfortunately engine merges it and doesn't lower after another six months as it should be done (end of Wave of Obscurantism).

Maybe my EU2 rioted because of all this editing eventually and I have to reinstall it :).

... you're sure? I've never observed or heard of this.

This, on the other hand, is well known -- see these threads in the bug forum.

The best cure for the second problem is to remove RR enhancers from random events and carefully plan when the historical events give RR, and for how long.

Or alternatively leave short lived RR events in the random and replace each historical RR events with one adding a bunch of province revolt risks and one removing them. Either way long duration RRs are a disaster waiting to happen.

I played Castille/Spain in the newest EEP (was courious about possibilities of stopping Castille by events). First I've met second situation (cumulative bug), but then I specially observed what happens. In another event that gave me RR and stab hit, value of the latter was added to the value of RR (there was one of these events about Henrique IV).

Well... Stability does affect revoltrisk... Are you sure the stability drop was added as revoltrisk and not just managed to raise RR by reduced stability?

RR number didn't changed while I was rebuilding my stability. Secondly, RR dropped in equal number like stab which is rather unlikely. But I met it only in 15th cen. Castille. Checking for it in 16th cen Spain and everything was fine. Maybe a local, accitental bug.
