Sometimes when an enemy fleet disengages, when it returns it cannot be targeted. It will fly around the map attacking at will, but allies, stations, and my own fleets when I manually target them cannot attack. Beyond that the enemy fleet functions normally. This has happened a few times but does not seem to happen every time.

I own all dlc for the game.

The only way I have found to duplicate the effect is to force an enemy fleet to disengage. When it returns the fleet cannot be targeted. It is seemingly at random when this happens as sometimes a fleet will respawn normally and sometimes the fleet will not.

Here is my latest save file. It should start in the system with the issue.

The bug is known by parafox since a long time already. The issue is that it is so difficult to reproduce, reloading a save fixes it. And because they cant reproduce it so easy they have issues to see what exactly is going on when the bug appears. I believe what is needed is a save right before a fleet forces another fleet to disengage and go MIA. A case where the bug appears at least sometimes if u load the save and the fleet reappears from disengage.

I have saved and quit but that didn't fix it when I reloaded.

I am playing on Ironman so I can't load a previous save.
