I formed Qing in my latest campaign right when I hit the basic requirements. As a result, I was unable to conquer all the claims I got (all of China proper) in enough time before they disappeared.
Do you think if you form a country, you should get claims for a longer period of time? I think I had, what, 25 years to do it in? Wasn't enough time.
I know now that I should have held off a little bit on formin Qing, waited until I had like a third of China at least. But it still sucks and doesn't make a whole lotta sense. I never really paid attention to how long a claim lasts (don't some last longer than others?), and I didn't expect to have to race the clock to take out Ming and co. Instead, I had to go through the long slog of fabrication.
Yes, I know there's the Unify China cassus belli ... but without the core creation reduction that claims provide (they provide a reduction, right?) and with the explosion of coring costs in 1.13, it takes a while to conquer China.
